Lacie's Week With Pop
Last week, Lacie was chosen to bring the class mascot home for one week. Today, Pop goes back to school! She was so so so excited and had so much fun having this stuffed animal at our house all week long (don't worry, he went in the washing machine as soon as we walked in the door with him). Because I used to teach Kindergarten, I can really appreciate this type of activity. It's a great way to build a home/school connection!
Moisturize
It's winter! Our heat is going inside and the air is cold outside. This always makes my skin go crazy! I will get dry flakey skin but then I also break out. For me, the key to preventing winter skin issues is MOISTURIZING like crazy!
The two I have been using (and loving) this winter are:
ALL THE PINK
I love Valentine's Day!!! What's not to love about PINK, CHOCOLATE, and celebrating the people that you care about! I get so excited for the seasonal catalogues from stores like Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma!
I immediately fell in love with this Pink Stoneware Bundt Pan! I love making bundt cakes, and I think Williams Sonoma has an awesome selection of pans in all different shapes!
I always change out the girls' plates for each season! After Christmas, I get out the Valentine's Day plates! I have a ton because I buy new ones every year. Sometimes I get them at Wegmans and sometimes I grab them at Pottery Barn Kids! They're inexpensive and dishwasher safe (a must). If you wait until closer to the holiday, they're always on sale!
Superbowl
Sunday is the big game! Even though our team isn't in it this year, John and I will still have fun watching! I have a few great Super Bowl recipes if you are looking for something fun and easy to make!
