It's the last Wednesday in June! WHAT?!?!
Crazy! This month flew by for us!
Like at the end of every month, I'm linking up with Shay over at Mix and Match Mama to bring you a taste of what we've been up to in the Hilosky House!
We always answer these questions plus a bonus question! This month's extra question is what is your favorite 4th of July tradition/recipe?
What We're Eating This Week
Basically, we are eating anything and everything that we can on the grill! Summer means a lot less kitchen cooking and kitchen clean up for me! YAY!
It's also Blueberry Season in New Jersey!!! So I will definitely be making some of my delicious
Blueberry Coffee Cake this weekend!
What I'm Reminiscing About
Can we talk about what Paisley looked like last year on July 4th!!! Because that is what I'm reminiscing about!
Paisley's First Fourth of July!
And Blakely's First Fourth of July
And Lacie's First Fourth of July
What I'm Loving
I am loving Summer Summer Summertime! It's definitely my favorite season! I love the warm weather, swimming, grilling, and everything else that comes with summer!
What We've Been Up To
Aside from all of the fun summer stuff mentioned above, Lacie has been doing CAMP! She had a two week camp at her preschool and now she is at Safety Town! Safety Town is a two week long camp run by our township police department! They teach kids safety rules on a little pretend town behind the police station! Kids starting Kindergarten in the fall are invited to do the program, and Lacie has been loving it so far!
Lacie and Blakely also had their dance recital last Saturday! I wrote a
Mommy Monday post about it, which you can read
here! A lot of hard work went into this recital, and I am so proud of these two! It was Blakely's first recital and Lacie's second recital! They both rocked the stage!
What I'm Dreading
Not a thing!
What I'm Working On
Thanks to some help from my father in law, I am working on growing a little deck garden! Listen, I pretty much have a black thumb and can never seem to keep plants alive...
But I'm happy to report that so far I have managed to keep all of our plants alive and we even have ONE strawberry that is almost ready to pick on our strawberry plant!
What I'm Excited About
John's Summer Hours! In the summer, he gets our of work and is home by 2:30pm every single day! This is awesome because it means that we have the entire afternoon to do fun, summer stuff with the kids!
What I'm Watching/Reading
The Real Housewives of the OC! This is my favorite of all the Real Housewives locations, and I'm so happy it's back on for the summer!
What I'm Listening To
Currently: Paisley trying to wake up her sisters. She always wakes up first and I can hear her saying her sisters names (CC and BB to be exact) and throwing her pacifiers out of her crib, trying to hit one of them lol.
What I'm Wearing
*Bathing suits
*tank tops
*workout clothes
*shorts
What I'm Doing This Weekend
*spending time at the pool
*going to Sesame Place
*cooking on the grill
What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month
Princess Dance Camp! Lacie did a princess camp last year that my sister runs, and this year Blakely is old enough to do it too! I cannot wait because I think the two of them are going to have the BEST TIME!
This was Lacie at last year's camp!
