...I'm Lindsay! Welcome to my blog. I'm a 20-something mom of two beautiful baby girls.
In 2009 I got married to this incredible guy named John. He is my best friend and my soulmate and he has truly embraced the color pink! Here is a picture of us on our beautiful wedding day and a picture of us from this summer (2013)!
Now let me introduce you to the three greatest gifts that I have ever received...the reasons why my life is better in PINK!
Meet Lacie Jane! She was came into my world and made me a mommy on August 19, 2011. Lacie weighed in at 8 pounds 9 ounces and she had a head full of amazing black hair, which since has lightened to her current color. Lacie was not what you would call an easy baby...she had acid reflux and was up all night long. Lacie is our girly girl! She loves all things pink, sparkly, and princess. You can usually find her playing with a Tiara on her head and a Tutu around her waist! She is our tiny dancer! Lacie has a peanut allergy, which is why you won't see any PB in my recipes! You can read a bit more about her allergy on my Peanut Free page!
Meet Blakely Hope! She came into my world on November 15, 2012. She weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds 2 ounces and was just perfect. Blakely will always be my greatest "surprise." I don't know if I became an expert after Lacie or if Blakely was just an easy baby...but she slept! By eight weeks she slept through the night - and I don't mean the 5 or 6 hours that doctors and baby books alike consider a full night sleep...I mean 11 glorious hours of sleep! Blakely is currently adjusting to her middle child status while in the midst of the terrible twos! In our house she is known as BB. Blakely follows her big sisters girly lead, but she has true tomboy tendencies at heart!
Meet Paisley Jean! Our third precious baby girl! She made her grand entrance into the world on December 11, 2014. She was our tiniest pink bundle, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 19 1/4 inches! She is a total Mama's girl, always wanting to snuggle and sleep on Mommy! If my blog posts are lacking it is because I find it hard to type while holding her all day long! In just two short months, Paisley has grown quite a big, funny personality! It already feels as if she has been a part of our family forever! I can't wait to see all of the growth and milestones this first year will bring!
