I spent the whole morning in my kitchen - my happy place! And now I can share with you my final Christmas Cookie recipe! Chocolate Butterscotch Crinkles! Since it is Christmas Eve, I am giving you an easy cake mix cookie recipe that you can whip up in no time!
Here's What You Need to Make the Chocolate Butterscotch Crinkles:
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1 block (8oz) cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- powdered sugar
Now Let's Make the Chocolate Butterscotch Crinkles:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper
- In a stand mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the butter and cream cheese
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract
- On low speed, add the chocolate cake mix and beat until a dough forms
- Fold in the cup of butterscotch chips
- Roll cookies into about 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar
- Place cookie balls onto prepared baking sheet
- Bake for 10-12 minutes
- Allow to cool for 3-4 minutes on cookie sheets before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely
