Oh Hey Friday!!! 

It's been awhile, but I'm back today sharing my Friday Favorites and linking up with some awesome Mommy Bloggers! 

SCHOOL DAYS

Both Lacie and Blakely are in school, which is a HUGE change for me (and for Paisley)!  Lacie is in school full time of course, and Blakely has preschool Monday/Wednesday/Friday!  I didn't know how I was going to feel about it...and I do miss them during the day but I'm starting to like our new normal!  I think what made this transition easy is that they both LOVE school! They are so happy to go every single day!  I also LOVE their teachers, and being a former teacher I can be a tough critic!

If you've been a loyal blog reader, you know how much I love making chalkboard signs!  We have quite the collection of boards for different purposes!  I'm always looking for new ones too! 

I use chalk markers, rather than regular chalk, to write on the boards! I love the way it looks, and I love that there is no chalk dust!

Dance
Back to school also means we are back to dance!  It's crazy that Lacie is already starting her third year of dance and Blakely is starting her second!

Food Pajamas

Completely random, but I found these awesome pajamas for Lacie!  She is my little foodie and truly eats me out of house and home!  She loves wearing them!

Sister Love

Like I mentioned above, poor Paisley is missing her sisters when they are at school!  Yesterday, Blakely was off so they got to spend the day together!  I caught this sweet picture when B was waking Paisley up from nap!!! Heart Melted! 

And I snapped this random picture after picking Lacie up from school the other day!

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!

LACIE'S BIRTHDAY

Today is the day!  Today, my sweet and super sassy Lacie Jane turns FIVE YEARS OLD!  How has it already been five years?  I will be doing a HUGE Mommy Monday post next week about her birthday, but you can click HERE to see my Lacie Look Back from this past Monday.  It's her life in pictures from age four to five!

Yesterday, I did my side by side - something I do every year!  Lacie's very first day as a FOUR year old and her very last day as a FOUR year old!  My goodness, what a difference a year makes! 

 I mean...you can totally picture her as a teenager in that second picture, right?!?

VBS CAMP

This week, Lacie and Blakely are wrapping up their summer of camps with a fun week of Vacation Bible School!  They loved their dance camps, but this may have been their favorite!  The very first day of camp, Blakely looked at me with this huge, excited smile on her face and asked me if she was going to meet Jesus at camp!  Can we just freeze time?  Can they stay so sweet and innocent?

The girls love those purple and yellow dresses - especially Blakely because she LOVES yellow!  I got them here:

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

BIRTHDAY WEEK

Last week I turned 31!  EEEK that sounds old!  While I am not super excited about the age, I had the very best week ever!  John took off from work and we had the best time going on dates and taking day trips with the kids.  And I DID NOT change ONE diaper.  Seriously.  John changed every single one of Paisley's diapers.  It was heaven! 

PRINCESS DANCE CAMP

This summer Lacie and Blakely got to go to TWO different dance camps!  One Disney Princess Dance Camp and one Frozen Dance Camp!  Last summer B wasn't old enough to go, so this year has been amazing!  She is so happy to be included! They also got some extra use out of their Disney Princess Halloween Costumes! 

Just for fun, here's what they looked like back in October!

Tap Shoes

Blakely needed tap shoes for Princess Camp and also will get to do tap along with ballet in her dance class starting in September!  She is so so so excited because of course Lacie got to do tap last year!  Just look at that face trying on tap shoes!  We love these Capezio taps in white (they held up really well all year)!

It's Friday Y'All! 

Who is excited for the weekend?!?!

Like I do on many Fridays, I am linking up to bring you some things I am loving this week!

Acro

Lacie is taking Acro for the first time at her dance school this summer.  She is loving every single second of this gymnastics inspired form of dance.  She will be old enough to take it as a regular class during the school year!  The best part is that I got to buy her cute gymnastics leotards!

Natives 

I talk about these wonderful shoes every year, but seriously my girls live in their Natives all summer long. Even little miss Paisley got her very first pair...although she would still rather be barefoot!

They didn't have the pink ones that Lacie and Blakely have (this year they appeared to be more of a red color), so Paisley got Purple!  Her little feet are a size 4, which is the smallest size they come in!

Hue Leggings

 I know it's summer, so most people are not in the mindset to buy leggings right now but...my very favorite Wide Waistband Hue Leggings are a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! They come in black, brown, and gray! They ARE NOT see through, and they fit like a dream! Seriously they're on sale for $20 so stock up before the price goes back to $36!

Clarisonic Mia 

 My very favorite beauty tool - the Clarisonic Mia - is also a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I absolutely love using this every single night - and how fun is the hot pink color! It comes in lots of other colors too (including basic white) if you're not as into pink as me!

The North Face 

Another thing that I always get each year from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is North Face Fleece Jackets for the girls. These rarely go on sale, so even though it's summer I still grab a new one! I love these jackets because they wash really well (Paisley's jacket has passed through two other kids and almost looks brand new)! They're also really warm BUT thin enough that they can wear them in their carseats SAFELY! Last year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I got Lacie a HOT PINK one and she wore it all winter except for when she was playing in the snow. Seriously they are that warm!

Every year, I pick up some cute, red white and blue outfits for the girls to wear on July 4th (and all summer)!  This year I found really fun dresses at Kohls!  All three of my girls LOVE wearing sundresses, so these were perfect!

I love Amazon (who doesn't).  And I was so happy to find these cute roller bottles on there.  Normally I get colored glass rollers, but these were clear glass with color coded tops!  They came (in two days - thanks Amazon Prime) and were better than expected!  I can't wait to make some new roller blends with these!

Lacie's Preschool Graduation

As of last week, my first baby is a Kindergartner!  I blogged about it on Mommy Monday, but I still had to reshare my very favorite picture from that day!

We recreated this picture of my parents with Lacie and my parents!  Same preschool, 26 years later! 

John is 34

Last week, my wonderful husband turned 34!  We celebrated with a day off from work (for him) and a day date!!! 

The Honest Company Swim Diaper

I've blogged about my love of The Honest Company before.  We use all of their products!

*Clearning products for our kitchen and bathroom

But one of my very favorite things is their reusable swim diapers!  They are so so so cute!  And they are reusable!  We go swimming everyday in the summer, so this really saves us a lot of money!  Did I mention that they are way cuter than the disposable ones?!?!  I just put a swim shirt and one of these reusable swim diapers on Paisley and she is good to go! 

Speaking of Bathing Suits

 I am in love with these Carter's suits that my in laws bought the girls for Easter! I love when they have swim shirts, because their pale skin is better protected from the sun....and basically my girls are so fair that you can see through their skin! Plus the Mermaid is adorable!

Babo Swim and Sport Spray 

Like I mentioned, we swim everyday! So it's a safe bet that my girls get that dry, tangled hair from chlorine! We love love love this spray and use it before and after swimming! I went through quite a bit last summer and just grabbed a new bottle for this summer!

Friday Favorites

We Made It Through The Week!!!!!

I am always so happy to get to Friday!  When John's alarm went off this morning, I looked at him and said "We made it to Friday!" I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.  The weeks are long...and those weekends go by so fast!  I plan on soaking up lots of family time this weekend!

Lacie's Preschool Birthday Celebration

So Lacie's real birthday is August 19th but this week at school they celebrated all of the kids with summer birthdays.  Needless to say, Lacie was excited.  I volunteered to make Funfetti Cupcakes so that I could be sure they were safe for Lacie's peanut allergy! 

Now I graduated from the same preschool back in 1990, and I also have an August birthday!  So I got to do the same summer birthday celebration.  Of course I had to find a picture from it.  

Water Table Fun

Yesterday, I took out the water table for the first time.  Now we have a regular pool in our development, a small inflatable pool, a water slide slip and slide...but for some reason my girls have always loved this water table the best.  It kept them busy all afternoon.  Last summer Paisley was only 6 months old so this was her first time being able to play with the water table, and let me tell you she was loving life!

I've been thinking about getting a second water table for this summer, and these are the three I am looking at! I would love suggestions if anyone has a water table that they love!

Our Anniversary 

On Sunday, John and I celebrated 7 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!  We made it a great day with a date in the afternoon, a celebration for Blakely's half birthday, and a special dinner and dessert for the two of us after the kids were in bed!  We drank champagne out of our wedding toasting glasses and ate off of our wedding china!
